One of my favourite moments in life is seeing the sun set in its rightful place.
Oh, the joy that brews in my heart is incomprehensible
I get teary anytime I miss that moment
It is so precious
Words are insufficient when talking about the setting of the Sun
I feel the goosebumps especially when I believe I am on that seashore
The sight of the big reddish-orange ball hanging in the sky as it flashes its sparkling rays over the wavy sea is just soothing
But in my village, I smell the hope that comes with the dusk
And that’s the beauty of twilight
I believe it is evidence of the Lord’s goodness
The calmness it brings is therapeutic
It gives me a sense of assurance that tomorrow is a treasure vault
A wise man always whispers to me, aspire for greatness
In recurrence, you will rise and set
This is a nice piece nature is life, more reason to take good care of our mother nature.
ReplyDeleteNature loves us that much. Thank you.
DeleteThe sunset has a very beautiful yet sorrowful literature representation in my culture. "Splendid is the setting sun, yet the dusk is near," my ancestors wrote.
ReplyDeleteWhen the sun sets, that is the moment when it manifests its utmost beauty. Too precious to vanish, too precious to last. Splendid is the sun, yet it is ready to fade. Like a tangent graph, an unavoidable void called night is doomed to split the radiance of the sun. If one closes their eyes in the twilight, they would discover nothing but mere darkness surrounding them when they open their eyes again.
My ancestors lamented over the set of the sun, and so do I fear the dawn never comes. But I hold on to one belief. When I open my eyes again, you will be there in the light.
Thank you for contributing this beautiful words. It is fulfilling to know someone shares in the goodness that emanates from nature and the Creator.
