Transition

The aftermath of the actions we took when we were young, with strong faith, hope, and determination. The decisions we made when we still believed those wild dreams would someday become realities, and oh! they did but not all because, Some faded out silently, some dried up in the desert, others got soaked and settled  at the bottom of the deep blue sea, oops!! Nevertheless, we keep on chasing after those we can, so it becomes a reality. Given the prospects, we have come far enough to give up and we have much more  to cover distance beyond the reach of the eye. Oh! Yes, we can! Marking time on a spotless spot is meaningless So we’re marching on from the right spot to greater heights. Don't throw in the towel in those trying moments, they come once in a while. Work towards success and make it happen. Take cues from how you made it this far, affirm your grounds and carry on.  Worry not because it does not take away tomorrow's trouble but today's ...

CARPE DIEM

Don't let your dream be a whim. Pressure shouldn't hinder your vim! If the face of your future doesn't appeal, go get a trim. If your dreams depict a sea, go take a swim! One soul on an adventurous quest... Flipping through pages of life with zest. Like the sun rises from the east only to set in the west; Courageously passing every test to complete the quest. In the future, be the guest who responded to the request. Though you might not have enough beauty to please your viewing pleasure, Nor speak proficiently to soothe your listening ear Nor be convincing enough to make you believe everything about me, Nor be smart enough to break Guinness world records... Yet you have something to offer! They have your attention now, cheers. See this, if you don't have a father figure, then you might not have the feathers to fly farther and further in life. Express your gratitude to your mother for the magnanimity she nurtured you with. You must do all you can whi...

Someday....

Future, where are you? How far are you from me? Which planet can I find you on? Do you live in a palace in a strange land with beautiful and hardworking servants? Oh, when would you come to me? Or should I hope for an invitation notice? With my finest clothes, I shall honour your invite if I receive one For I wish to dine at your table if you are a King Thinking about the next step to take, I will pray to the Lord to protect and preserve you for me until we meet. I always dream about you Yet your image is blurry anytime I draw nigh So, hear these words of mine 'I still have faith that I will see you' Anytime we sit by the fireside I begin to smile My elders always tell a story about how bright you are. It is always interesting to listen to your stories and wish that they would never end. Then my elders say, we shall continue next time. They tell me that you await me in the unknown world. Patiently I will wait for you, My elders say to m...

Take my hand, Tryphena

As I read through the stories that I came across this month of March, one that caught my attention and sustained it was written by TRYPHENA YEBOAH. We don't live in this world all by ourselves.  There are people who require our presence to progress.  Likewise we also need the helping hand of others to survive through our quest to make a difference in life. There's something in her words that I still think about ".... this golden goodness inside of me; this wildness in my heart "  This is a treasury that every heart can possess. Follow the link and read the full story Take my hand

It’s not easy, not impossible

This really happened; she walked towards me with well-calculated steps and gorgeously stood before me with such a radiant smile. Very infectious and I had no choice so I smiled back at her. That meant a lot to me. All other thoughts froze in my head. My heartbeat was in rhythm with the smiles. Like a dream, I did not want to wake up but I had already started with self-introduction. “My name is Victor Ayertey and I followed your tweets and they literally engaged my thoughts. I listened to and watched videos of you performing as a gem. This birthed the interaction that led me to the opportunity to meet you today at this premise …” jumping in like a skydiver, she said “you are welcome…” and she spoke as if she rehearsed what she had to say to me. I was dumbfounded but I had to swiftly adapt to the moment in order to be on the same page as her. She was and is eloquent and proficient. At some point, it seemed as if I was watching some kind of fairy tale. Not really, i...

PEACE EQUALS LIFE

IMCS PAX ROMANA PAX GHANA PEACE PROJECT (PAGHAPP) MESSAGE FOR THIS YEAR, 2016 “The mountains and hills may crumble, but my love for you will never end; I will keep forever my promise of peace. So says the Lord who loves you” (Isaiah 54:10). Peace is a necessity.  It is a prerequisite to every final decision and step that to be taken. What more could a community search for? We as a people can fend for ourselves, if they leaders (political parties) believe we need assistance in these days, then it should not be on disguised conditions. In those days and months past, they had much more room to have supported us to make our livelihood better. We know the difference between the sunlight and lanterns. Whereas they pretended not to have been aware of our various needs over the years, we cannot compromise now. Please do not make the generation suffer your nuisance and negligence. Over the years, our leaders in Ghana have in one or another, maltreated and denied us the citiz...

An African child's dream

Once upon a time, The African child had a dream This child is entitled to smiling; he or she is can feel the wind of change Hopefully, they’ve been experiencing droplets of progress like the dewfall They compile the happenings of yesterday They imagine an encounter with the other world today The moment when they continuously believe their fate is in tomorrow That’s an impression about the depth they want to encounter change They have that wonderful and amazing creative mind They have that heart believing the phrase “my time will come” Knowing that it will be ‘their turn soon’ They surely do not see life as a competition They seek progressive transformation They find in every bit of their heartbeat the source for inspiration Whatever it takes, they are ready to make the sacrifice Just name it, if it’s worth it, they will value that price They wallow through unfavorable conditions to seek education Some survive because they have to skim the crea...

Rekindling the African child

Tender hearts are woven with change I am young, I am a catalyst for change They are a promising generation zealous for change I have a heart linking up to many hearts My heart beats for the young who have been unconsciously tagged hopeless I desire to rekindle the light in the hearts of the young with hope I am inspired by the beating hearts of the younger generation We are young at the heart but they have tender and adaptive hearts They are eager to be empowered as they grow in will and capabilities We are inspired as we desire to transform the future of these young children from now We are formed, shaped and filled with passion to embark on this mission And specially engineered to fulfill the purpose and achieve this vision We are the embodiment of solutions for the advancement of our generation Can you possibly imagine that future built from this present if there are no viable resources? What is it worth if the gap still remains as it was and it’s not bridged ...
